About me
Teresa Brown enters her 39th year in education and fourth as Superintendent of Madison Consolidated Schools, where she champions "whatever it takes" for student success. Under her leadership, Madison was named a 2026 Best Managed School District and received the Indiana Chamber of Commerce Impact Award. A recognized visionary, Dr. Brown was recently honored as the 2026 CoSN/AASA EdPower Superintendent of the Year. Supported by an award-winning team—including HECC’s Technology Coordinator of the Year, Josh Taylor, and the DOE’s Outstanding STEM Coordinator, Jennifer Colen,—she leverages technology as a catalyst for innovation, bridging the gap between creative instruction and real-world student opportunities.
