About me
After attending college at Vincennes University for Computer Science with a focus on Hardware Repair, I quickly realized that the hardware side of the technology industry is not where I wanted to be, nor did I see a future in it. After a few years of working for a hardware repair company, I began my career with FWCS in 1995 as a Network Technician. In this position, I would get to support both hardware and software throughout FWCS. Through many years I have served as a Network Technician that allowed me to serve staff and students at many different schools. In 1999 my position changed once again as I became a Technical Support Specialist, where I was able to serve all of the FWCS buildings. As I grew professionally through the next couple of years I was able to take on the role of the Supervisor of Technical Support in 2012, where I was able to gain new skillsets like project management, inventory management, ordering and installing network equipment and tracking, and oversight of specialized Erate funding. Then, in 2021, I was selected as the Manager of Technology and in 2023 promoted to the Director of Technology where I now oversee the Technology Department.
